A LITTLE BOY OF MINE.

By Benjamin Keech

BY BENJAMIN KEECH.

Little ways so sunny, Kisses sweet as honey, Little boy, my heart with joy Is kept renewed by you; Little feet to guide me, Walking close beside me; Little lad, my heart is glad, Because we’re lovers true.

Rumpled curls of yellow, Jolly little fellow, Playing out, with laugh and shout, Your music fills the place; Life would lose its gladness, Days be full of sadness; Hope were done, my little one, Without your winsome face.
