Let the Work Go On.—The Catholic Mirror says that “the pope has ordered the destruction of the vineyards of the Vatican because the wine is worthless, and he considers it beneath the papal dignity to speculate in the produce of the apostolic gardens.” Good. Now let him destroy the vine by which “the wine of Babylon” is produced, and which has made drunken all nations.
