NO GREATER TREASURE.

BY BENJAMIN KEECH.
There's a little brown-eyed laddie Comes to see me, every night, And I fold him closely to me, And I hold him warm and tight. With his tiny arms clasped 'round me, And his cheek against my face; Is there any earthly treasure That could take my darling's place?
When my little, brown-eyed laddie Comes to say his sweet “good-night;” When I kiss his golden tresses, Like the sunbeams, fair and bright; Then my worries all desert me, Thankful joy wins out the race; And there's not an earthly treasure That could take my darling's place.
