BOOK DEPARTMENT NOTES

Bibles and Testaments for Children

Two weeks ago mention was made of the new Standard Revised Text Bible, retailing at 60 cents. Since then we have received the following children’s Bibles, with the authorized version:—
No. 1205, bound in red leather, red edges, with small but readable type. One color illustration, price 50 cents.
No. 1405, also bound in red leather, but printed in larger type. Fully illustrated with colored engravings, price $1.00.
No 3, New Testament, bound in black leather, gold edges, price 30 cents.
No. 4, New Testament, with soul-saving texts marked in red, price 13 cents.
No. 5, New Testament, bound in cheap cloth, price 10 cents.

Nature Books

The following is a very attractive series of illustrated books for the little folks:—
“Home, Haunts and Habits of Wild Animals,” 75 cents.
“Happy Days on the Farm,” 35 cents.
“Wild Animals at Home,” 35 cents.
“Fur-Coated Animals,” 25 cents.
“Wood’s Natural History,” 50 cents.

Japanese Literature

“Steps to Christ,” in the Japanese language is exhausted, and it will be several weeks before we can get more from Japan.
We still have the following in that language, however:—
“Glorious Appearing,” 20 cents.
“Marshalling of the Nations,” 10 cents.
“New Testament Sabbath,” 2 cents.
“Second Coming of Christ,” 3 cents.
“True God and His Sabbath,” 1½ cent.
“Way of Salvation,” 2 cents.

“Last-Day Tokens,” with Colored Illustrations

For more than a year Elder Loughborough’s pamphlet, “Last-Day Tokens,” has been out of print. We have had to disappoint a great many of our readers as a result, and therefore take pleasure in announcing that he has revised and enlarged the work, and it will be ready about July 1. This edition will contain, among many other new features, 24 full-page plates in colors. These colored plates have been made under the author’s personal supervision and add materially to the value and interest of the work. Price will be 25 cents. Advance orders are solicited.

Those Articles on the Labor Question

We can only supply a very few back copies of the SIGNS containing the articles by Prof. Rine on the “Industrial Problem in the Light of Revelation.” We hope, therefore, that all our readers desiring the full set will order quickly.

“Our Little Friend,” Birthday Number

The Little Friend will soon celebrate its 15th birthday by appearing in a colored cover. A limited number of extra copies of this birthday issue will be printed, and furnished to those who desire to use them in missionary work, at $1.00 per hundred.

New Catalogue of Publications

We have in press a new catalogue of our denominational publications, with complete index. It will be sent free to those desiring copies.

The Lesson Help for Next Quarter

The International Sabbath-school lessons will continue on the book of Revelation for another quarter. The pamphlet “Thoughts on Revelation,” by Uriah Smith, is the standard help. Price 25 cents.
