Noting the Dowie crusade in New York City, the Brooklyn Eagle says that a great organization is powerless without a man and a message behind it. And it is true that there is no power for good excepting the power of God, and God never sends a man without a message. The sordid aim to gather in a large amount of money is no part of the Gospel.
