The Limits of Partisan Prophetic Interpretations
The politicians who attempt to twist the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation into a support of Socialism and the condemnation of all that oppose it, or the Anti-Secret Society people who make the beast power to represent the “lodge system,” will find sometime that their views are altogether too limited, too narrow, too partisan. The present commercial system has many evils, but socialistic remedies will not cure them. The disease lies deeper than the remedies of any human or political regime can reach. The lodge system is not Christian, but the utter abolition of lodges would not change men's hearts.
