FERNANDO, CAL., CHURCH AND SCHOOL.

SABBATH, March 21, was a good day for the Fernando church and school. After an interesting Sabbath-school, a short sermon was given, when the way was opened for any to express themselves who desired prayers, or who had decided to give themselves to the Lord. Fourteen responded, each one taking a part in a short social meeting, stating their desires and determinations. At the afternoon meeting seven of these were baptized in the new baptistry just completed.
The brethren and sisters of the Fernando church also made a special dedication of themselves to the Lord, making a general forward movement. This day was a fitting preparation for the dedicatory services which were held the following day, March 22. At this time the large chapel room on the first floor of the college building was dedicated for church purposes alone. A large per cent of the people of Fernando were present, and the Lord gave special evidence of His presence and acceptance.
These two days were days of blessing.
