DO YOU CONSIDER THE PRISONER A HOPELESS CASE?

The April Life Boat will be placed in the hands of almost every one of the hundred thousand prisoners in the United States. It contains the choicest thoughts from the pens of A. T. Jones, Maude Ballington Booth, S. N. Haskell, Chaplain Thornton, Dr. J. H. Kellogg, Chaplain Jessup, W. S. Sadler, and other leading workers.
Prison officials all over the land are most heartily co-operating with us in this effort. As a result of our previous work in this line hundreds of men are to-day rejoicing in the Saviour’s love and many of them whose sentences have expired have already re-instated themselves in society, and are living upright Christian lives.
There is no more encouraging missionary field to-day than the prison work. A dollar will pay for fifty Life Boats to be sent to your State prison.
Within a week one prisoner sent us the money to pay for a yearly subscription for twenty of his fellow prisoners and another one sent five dollars to assist in this work. To what extent are you interested in this effort to get the Gospel to a class of men for whom Christ died but for which we have done so little.
