To Test Pennsylvania’s Blue Laws.—To force an issue on the blue laws in Pennsylvania, the prominent and responsible members of the Sabbath Observance Association have sworn out warrants for the arrest of several publishers of morning newspapers, and the executive officers of a certain news company, a locomotive works, and an ice-cream company. Such acts as the accused are charged with doing are forbidden by the law of 1794, which also prohibits kissing on Sunday.
