New Religious Education Association

A new organization in the religious field was launched at the recent great convention at Chicago for religious and moral education. That organization is called, “The Religious Education Association,” with Dean Frank K. Sanders, of Yale Divinity School, as president, and Nicholas Murray Butler, of Columbia University, as vice-president. The constitution of the National Education Association was adopted with such changes as adapt it to the specific purposes of the new organization. The purpose is the correlation and stimulation of all forces in the field engaged in the moral and religious training of the young. It is receiving commendation and criticism. In it is the spirit of the combine.
