“The Two Laws: Object, Function, and Duration of Each.” By E. J. Hibbard. New York, Oakland, Kansas City, Pacific Press Publishing Company. It is not too much to say that this is the best brochure, the clearest exposition of the “Two Laws,”—moral and ceremonial—ever written. The price is only 15 cents.
“Coals from the Altar.” By H. T. Davis. Twelve chapters, 180 pages, on conversion and practical Christianity. Price (paper covers) 20 cents. Office of God's Revivalist, Cincinnati, Ohio. “His Glorious Appearing. An exposition of Matthew 24,” in the Chinese language. Illustrated. We dare say that it is good. But not understanding Chinese we can not give the price or where it is published. It seems to us that it would have been well to have Englished this on the title page as well as the subject.
“Is There Immortality in Sin and Suffering?” 88 pages with paper cover. Price, 5 cents; postage, 2 cents. Address Box 18, Anaheim, Cal. This is the abridgment of an old work of the same title published in New York, with additions; also extracts from authors on the same subject. Written in a candid spirit and Scriptural.
“The Neglected Side of Trade-Unionism. The Boycott.” By Walter Gordon Merritt, Danbury, Conn. Every lover of truth and justice and fair play ought to read it.
