SKETCHES OF MISSIONARY WORK IN CHINA.
By Ida V. Morgan
It would be hard to tell you how these people find their way into our hearts, but they do. We soon learn to love them, first, for Jesus’ sake, then for their own, and as they become transformed into new creatures in Christ Jesus, we enjoy real fellowship with them. Their kindness and hospitality can not be excelled. The best they have is not good enough, until one protests and tells them we will not go to their homes if they make a fuss or go to a lot of trouble for us. I had the pleasure of spending two days out in the country at the home of one of our Christians, and had the privilege of telling the Gospel to many who had never heard it before. The house was filled from the time we arrived until late in the evening, and early next morning others came, and we were kept talking until we were quite hoarse, telling over and over again the story of the love and power of God. Dear friends, pray for the little flocks throughout China, that they may be kept from the evil which is round about them.—Ida V. Morgan.
