February Cosmopolitan Highlights

The February "Cosmopolitan" has an interesting illustrated article on Damascus, one of the oldest towns in all the world. The "Captains of Industry," considered in this issue are August Belmont, Henry M. Whitney, and William Andrews Clark. The Rev. Jenkin Lloyd Jones has an article on "Making Choice of a Profession," the subject of this number being the ministry. It opens with these words: "There is no disguising the fact that the churches of to-day, at least the Protestant churches of America, are sick. The ministry has lost its old-time prestige." Words too true.
