Not for a Year Alone.

When we stated some time ago that the California Conference of S. D. Adventists had agreed to pay the expenses and salaries of missionaries who went from this State out into the regions beyond “for a year,” it conveyed a wrong impression. It was for a year and more, the time indefinite, but till the fields where these missionaries should go would be, or should be, able to support them. We make this correction because other conferences have seemed to get the idea that California supported these missionaries only for a year, and so they have been agreeing to do the same for missionaries sent from their respective fields. We are glad to correct the wrong impression. Let no definite time be set. Let the need be the criterion for the time.
