Proposed Church Union in Australia

The Presbyterians and Congregationalists of Australia are endeavoring to form a basis of union. Committees have been appointed by each denomination, to whose consideration have been submitted propositions relative to doctrine and church government. While difficulties are acknowledged, both sides express the belief that they are not insuperable.
