They Do Not Teach It.

The Baltimore American of September 14, 1902, ignorantly or wilfully represents Seventh-day Adventists as teaching the end of the world in five years. They do not teach it. They have never set times for the Lord to come. They never will. From all evidence, they believe, in the words of our Lord, that it is their duty to “know that He is near, even at the doors,” and to proclaim it; but they have never set times. In the nature of the case they can not.
