Volcanic Devastation in Guatemala

REPORTS continue to arrive from the vicinity of the terrible volcanic outbreak in Guatemala, telling of the devastation there and the terrible loss of life. Some of the reports place the number of dead as high as 10,000, while others place it as low as 2,500; but all reports agree as to the utter devastation of the country surrounding the volcano, numerous rich estates being buried under several feet of ashes and volcanic dust.
