Germany’s War Burden.

The official gazette of Germany shows a deficit of about $1,000,000 between military estimates and expenditures, and $500,000 deficit in naval expenditure. The total income of the nation in 1901 showed a falling off of $1,750,000, and the total expenditure increased by about $1,050,000. The deficit for the financial year is given as $12,000,000.
