Earthquake Destruction in Eastern Turkestan

PARTICULARS are beginning to come in, in regard to the destruction to life and property in the recent earthquakes in Eastern Turkestan. The shocks continued from August 22 to September 3. One hundred persons were killed at Kashgar, 400 in the village of Astyn, and 20 at Jango, while the town of Aksuksitche was completely destroyed.
