FROM OUT THE SEAS OF SIN.

From out the seas of sin I rise To freely sing my Master's praise; He swept the dimness from mine eyes And gave me lessons in His ways.
I would that all the coming days Might harvest never tears or sighs;— From out the seas of sin I rise To freely sing my Master's praise.
No more for me is gloomy night, I have received celestial light; How soon He heeds the mortal's cries And sheds o'er him sweet mercy's rays From out the seas of sin I rise To freely sing my Master's praise.
