OPENING OF THE GERMAN DEPARTMENT OF WALLA WALLA COLLEGE.

The German Department of the Walla Walla College will open Wednesday, Oct. 1, with Pastor H. J. Schnepper as teacher. Classes will be organized in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, history, Bible, and rhetoric, as the needs of the students who are present may require. We trust our German brethren throughout the Northwest will give this department their hearty co-operation and support, and that they will send us as students, a goodly number of young men and women, also of older persons, who can be fitted in a short time for acceptable service in the Master's cause among the German population of this Northwestern country. Those who desire further information concerning this department may correspond with the undersigned, or with Pastor Schnepper at College Place, Wash.
