Christ the Only Saviour

Every system of religion, however great its pretensions, which teaches that man is his own saviour, that he has the power within himself to save himself, is false. He who knows Christ Jesus has the power of Christ in his soul. He who knows not Christ has “no hope” and is “without God in the world.” Only by an open, submissive heart toward God can we receive His presence.
