GOD IS LOVE.

By Mrs. J. E. Gilchrist

E’en the sparrows seem to say That God is love; All things teach from day to day That God is love.

O may we strive His love to show Along our pathway as we go, And help our needy friends to know That God is love.

May we teach some weary one That God is love; May we bring some lost one home, Where God is love.

O, scatter smiles along your way, And fervent to the Saviour pray To bring a wanderer each day Where God is love.

May our hearts be gay and light, For God is love. May our lamps be burning bright, For God is love. Let us follow every day In the straight and narrow way, For ’tis well that we can say God is love.
