Congress Urges Action Against Trusts

THE Transmississippi Commercial Congress closed its sessions at St. Paul, Minn., on August 22, after adopting a strong resolution urging the President of the United States to use all the power vested in him as executive against the growing power of the trusts, to the end that the power and influence of these organizations may be destroyed. The resolution also urges upon Congress the enactment of more stringent laws to suppress this growing evil.
