ABOUT THE DOOR.

In some houses, doors are always closed with a bang. Slam goes the front door after father in the morning! Slam bang after Johnny when he goes to school! Slam when Miss Prue rushes off to catch up with a classmate. And, to the key of that vociferous door, the music or the noise of that home is set, all day long. Try, dear sinners, to reform. Shut the door quietly. It is just as easy, just as effectual and ten times as pleasant. —Christian Herald.
