Drink from God’s Living Waters

He who looks to men for help and strength, for warmth and zeal, will sooner or later fail. The impure waters of a broken cistern will for a little time satisfy a thirsty soul; but in the end they create fever instead of quenching thirst, and oftentimes when the poor soul returns to the fountain it is empty and dry. For all the cool, sweet, fever-quenching, life-giving waters of God are flowing. “O thirsty one, stoop down, and drink, and live.”
