All Is Vanity

“All Is Vanity.”—How often the words of the preacher are verified in the history of this world. It is estimated that the preparations for the coronation of King Edward VII. cost $20,000,000; but they all ended in sad disappointment. The ambassadors, the princes, the royal and noble visitors have all gone home. It is probable that the coronation will take place on August 9, as officially announced, but all the grand displays planned for will be wanting.
*“The worldly hopes men set their hearts upon Turn ashes”—*
But there is one coronation which will surely take place, the coronation of Christ Jesus. Those who invest heart, and soul, and means in that will not be disappointed. The earthly is vanity; the heavenly is real.
