Exploring the Interior of Labrador

An expedition has been fitted out in Boston for the purpose of exploring the interior of Labrador, which is perhaps as little known as any section of the North American continent. The explorers will study the topography, geology, meteorology, and natural history of this unknown land. The expedition will be in charge of Colonel Willard Glazier, who, in 1881, discovered the true source of the Mississippi River in the lake which now bears his name.
