“AT HIS RIGHT HAND.”

At His right hand,—the Majesty on high,— Above all principalities and powers, One sits who bears our nature, feels our woes, One who is ours.
O faint of heart, defeated oft, dismayed, Before temptation doth thy spirit quail? Deem’st thyself pitted in unequal strife, Doomed but to fail?
Consider this: He who the conflict waged, He who for us subdued the hosts of sin, He above princes and powers is throned, And we in Him.
It is thine own, the victory He hath won; Before thy battle, vanquished is thy foe: In Him who overcame, thou evermore May’st triumph know.
