Rebellion in French Kongo

In that part of Africa known as the French Kongo district the natives are in rebellion. Coming down the Kongo River, they murdered the owners of a number of large mills and the natives employed in them, looted the mills and burned them. France has ordered reinforcements sent to the disturbed district. A recent revival of the rites of human sacrifices is given as the cause of the outbreak.
