Bulgarian Conflict with Turkey

Another band of Bulgarians has come into conflict with the troops of Turkey. As the engagement took place on Turkish soil, it seems that the Bulgarians are determined upon provoking a quarrel with Turkey, in the hope of having Europe interfere and put an end to the Turk in Europe. It is probably the sultan's knowledge of the purpose of these disturbances that keeps him from taking strong measures with Bulgaria.
