Danish Legislature Approves Sale of West Indies

THAT department of the Danish Legislature known as the Landsthing has decided, by a vote of 34 to 30, to adopt the majority report providing for the sale of the Danish West Indies to the United States. The session which ended in this vote was a sensational one, the sentiment against the sale of the islands being very strong.
