Chicago’s Many Religions

Chicago is cosmopolitan in its religions. It has about 50 denominations, sects, or cults, represented in 1,100 places of public worship. Among these are Baptists, Mohammedans, Zoroastrians, Confucianists, Buddhists, Swedenborgians, “Churches of God,” Schwenkfeldians, etc. Surely there are enough to satisfy almost any natural heart. But the one religion which will meet all needs is pure and undefiled Christianity.
