God’s Life and His Law

The life from God, perverted by the wicked man to selfish purposes, is no more God's life than the law of God perverted is God's law, or the justice of God perverted is God's justice. As soon as the life of God is perverted to the channel of a perverted law, it is no longer God's life. The life of God comes into a man, when man by faith comes into glad harmony with God's law.
