Tua-Tua Reported as Leprosy Treatment

REPORTS from Honolulu and Tahiti are to the effect that leprous patients have been successfully treated with a plant known as tua-tua, a plant recently introduced into the islands from Venezuela. Several cases of acknowledged cures are reported; but the Honolulu Board of Health refuses to indorse the remedy.
