Smallpox Infection Carried by the Air

INVESTIGATIONS made on behalf of the Essex County Council, England, seem to indicate that smallpox infection is carried by the air. Whenever smallpox was under treatment on the hospital ships in the Thames, outbreaks occurred in the vicinity.
