Brother George R. Drew, a former Californian, who for many years has been a ship missionary in the great port of Liverpool, England, in a personal letter to the editor writes as follows:— Will you thank those kind friends who sent the Signs and now I wish to trouble you in behalf of the ship work for the following periodicals which we much need: 8 copies Sentinel, 6 Youths' Instructor, 6 Pacific Health Journal. Will Scandinavian brethren send for the Scandinavian sailors 40 copies of the Sundhedbladet? I think that I have friends enough in California, let alone many other places, who will do this. Just now my mind rests upon Brother Jensen, who, when I was in California, was in the sheep business. If this should catch his eye, he will surely want a hand in this work. I am nearly 67 years of age, may the Lord still give us the strength we need to sow the precious seeds of truth. Yours in the blessed hope, George R. Drew. 10 Princess Terrace, Balls Rd., Birkenhead, Eng
We earnestly hope that this appeal of Bro. Drew's may be heeded, and that many will be glad to co-operate with him in this good work. Donations sent to the Signs addressed to the “Co-operation Corner” will be used for this work, and if it haps that more comes in than is needed in Liverpool, it will be used in similar work.
