Philippine Tariff Bill Passed House

THE Philippine tariff bill passed the House on December 18 with a majority of 35. This bill imposes the Dingley tariff rates on goods coming into the United States from the Philippines, and the rates established by the Philippine commission on goods going into the Philippines from the United States. It also provides that foreign vessels may ply between the United States and the Philippine Islands as they would between the United States and any foreign country.
