Warning Against Treated French Fruit

The State, Treasury, and Agricultural Departments of the government have decided that so much acid and sulphur are used by French canners in preparing fruit exported to the United States, that it constitutes a decided menace to the health of the people. The canners are to be warned that such fruit will in future be prevented from entering the United States.
