Persevere.— “If thou faint in the day of adversity, ‘thy strength is small,’ the wise man tells us. Persevere. Learn wherein the failure lies. Note what point needs to be strengthened. Try again. Seek God anew. He has pledged His eternal love to help you. Seek Him anew. Never give up. No soul will ever fail in the moral warfare who dies trying with all his heart. He may have failed before many times; but God will forsake no soul who seeks with his whole heart to please Him. So persevere; ‘in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.’”
