Boer War Continues Without Decisive Victory

WHILE the Boer war continues to pile up the debt of England, the army in South Africa fails to gain any decided victory over the fighting burghers. The Boers seem to have determined upon an active campaign in Natal, and are still keeping up operations in Transvaal and Cape Colony. Desperate fighting is reported on the Zulu border; and wherever the opposing forces have come in contact, the engagements have been sharp and sanguine. The end of this bitter struggle seems still far distant.
