MY ALL IN ALL.

By W. S. Bissonnette

Come, Christ, my brother be In life's reality; I need with whom to talk, Who lonely walk.
Come; now in vain no more A friend shall try the door; Tho once at eventide Thou wert beside.
And in that night gone by, I heard a child's low cry, But feared too much the storm To let him warm.
Now, since my hearth is cold, I hear Him as of old; But with a father's cheer He draweth near!
Come, Child that was, and be The Man of Light in me; Burst in my spirit's room; Come, Christ, illume!
