A CENTURY ago there was not a single medical missionary or a Christian hospital in a foreign field; now there are more than 700 missionary physicians, 355 mission hospitals, and 753 dispensaries. In the course of the year 2,672,651 patients were attended to, and 6,647,840 visits were paid.
