Ancient Cities Discovered in Crete

SINCE the island of Crete has been rescued from the Turks, systematic explorations have been carried on by those interested in archæology. These excavations are bringing to light the remains and records of many ancient cities in Crete whose locations and even names had been lost to the world. It seems possible that the traditional claims of this island to a hundred cities will be substantiated by the explorers.
