Rising Sugar Consumption

In the Medical Times for August appears the statement that the world's consumption of sugar has nearly doubled in the last fifteen years, while in Great Britain it has trebled per head in the last forty years. According to this authority the English and Americans stand easily at the head among the sugar-eating nations.
