Mormon Polygamy in Wyoming

A TRAVELING salesman in Wyoming reports that in an interior settlement of that State there are many Mormons living in polygamy, having from two to seven wives. The obscurity of the region enables them so to live in comparative safety from exposure. There is no doubt that Mormonism in principle, if not in open practice, is spreading in all directions from Salt Lake. The missionaries of that faith all represent that polygamy is no longer a tenet of the faith of that church; but their pioneer agents always kept that feature of their religion in the background.
