A SERMONETTE.

“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.” Isa. 58:8. A triune blessing. Illumination, physical quickening, holiness. Note how emphatic the prophet is. “Thy light shall break forth;” “thine health shall spring forth.” “Thy righteousness shall go before thee.” “The glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.” Observe, again, blessing for an advance guard and God’s glory as a rear-guard.—Christian Worker.
