Jesus Christ Waits to Welcome Every Soul

Jesus Christ waits to welcome every soul. He loves even the lowest and most degraded, because of the glorious possibilities that grace may develop. He went clear down, even to death, that He might suffer with the lowest; and then ascended far above all principality and power, “that He might fill all things,” and so lift every soul who trusts in Him to the glorious heights of eternal righteousness and life. O soul, why not make Him glad by receiving Him with all your heart? Your mightiest arguments with the Infinite Son are your great need and His matchless mercy.
