Deal Fairly with Employees

Deal openly, squarely, fairly with men. Have you a young man in your employ whom you do not need?—Tell him so frankly, and give him the reason. Is he unfitted for the place?—Tell him so kindly. Are his defects remediable? Let him know what in your opinion they are, and how to correct them. It is the manly Christian way to deal, and its after effects will be far better than the way such things are often done.
