Questions and Correspondence

Questions and Correspondence.—We have, but little time for correspondence. We wish at times we had more. We write this to explain to many friends and acquaintances. We are glad to get their letters, but we are not always able adequately to reply, and sometimes to reply at all. We have no time to answer long theological arguments. If any have criticisms or suggestions as to the paper or its matter, we shall be pleased to consider them candidly if they are presented candidly and concisely. We will answer any questions proper for the SIGNS, if they are clearly and concisely stated, if we can. But let them be questions of worth, not those which minister to mere curiosity. One thing more: We promise to print no articles of any sort till we see the manuscript. Often we are asked if we will print certain articles if prepared and sent to us. We do not know. It will depend upon the articles and our best judgment as to whether they are timely, or suitable and timely, for this paper. For all the encouraging words we receive from our many correspondents, for all marked papers sent, we are grateful. We are glad to count them as working with us, and all working together with Him, in the prosecution of the blessed Gospel work.
